About the trip

Sun, sand, and safari! As the name implies, you will be destined for a lot of sun and jungle fun. From water sports to the pristine waters of Galle, it will be a sun-spashed journey! Tissamaharama will be the point from where you can take in a safari at Yala National Park. Your final stop before heading back to Colombo will be in the tiny hamlet of Rakwana from where you can discover the majesty of Sinharaja rainforest.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrive and then get ready to be driven down south to the costal town of Induruwa where accommodation will be arranged in a beautiful beach villa for two days. While in Induruwa one can simply bask in the sun!

Day 2:
Enjoy the various water sports activates available on offer. 

Day 3:
Next will be Galle where one can enjoy some of the best beaches Sri Lanka has to offer. Here the accommodation will be either in a villa slightly away from the sea or in a motel by the sea. In Galle you could visit the old Dutch/Portuguese Fort which is to this day a living city with Private houses, Government offices, Banks, etc. and is a UNESCO Heritage site.

Day 4:
Go scuba diving, whale watching or just relax on the beach. The Unawatuna Bay area has lots of small restaurants visitors can try out and also beach parties in the night. 

Day 5:
The Yala national park which is a prime eco tourist destination is the next stop. 
Here one will be able to see much of the wild life and the leopards that the park is renowned for. Accommodation will be in a bungalow or a game lodge or even in a small hotel. Ideally, the oneshould go on safari at least twice which would take approximately 3 hours at a time.  

Day 6: 
Relax or go for another safari if you wish!

Day 7:
Next you will travel to Udawalawe for one night. The Udawalawe national park is famous for the large herds of elephants that roam in the park. 

Day 8: 
From Udawalawe,drive down to Colombo where you would spend a night in the City to do some last minute shopping, checking out the many fine restaurants or night clubs.
